Litter Registration is the method by which a litter from two UKC parents of the same breed is supplied with an Application for Permanent Registration for each pup. The applications do not grant registration privileges and must be completed and mailed to UKC for Permanent Registration to be finalized. The breeder handles this step, and supplies an application to each buyer.
Single Registration is a method for purebred dogs from other recognized registries to become UKC registered with full registration privileges. It also encompasses dogs who were not litter registered as pups but who have two verifiable UKC parents.
Performance Listing is a method for mix bred dogs, purebred dogs of unknown pedigree, purebred dogs with disqualifying faults, or breeds not recognized by UKC to participate in UKC Performance and Junior Showmanship events.
Focused on helping newly established breed groups or types, Bloodlines Listing Service provides space for new breed groups to establish their breed stock by offering lineage tracking services to dog owners and breeders.
This is the finalization of the UKC registration process for pups who were litter registered. The Application for Permanent Registration (obtained by the breeder from UKC after litter registering, and then provided to the buyer) must be completed and mailed to UKC for issuance of your dogs Permanent Registration certificate. Completion of this process grants full registration rights and privileges.
